I really appreciated Irene’s vulnerability in her music. And to couple that with the therapist to guide the narrative and the discussion was profound. The experience connected to my personal trauma I experienced helping my daughter manage her severe depression and multiple suicide attempts. Oddly enough I felt my emotions validated which lead to a sense of peace that I am okay. A sense that I am enough and worthy to be here in the present with a connectedness to my daughter.
